Gentoo

Gentoo is a college campus TV station that I have now been producing for 1 and a half years. After being a crew member on the show for 2 semesters I took over the producing role and have made several changes. I have incorporated tech news as a regular part of our news segments, I have worked with graphic artists to get new backgrounds for the show and intro graphics for the smaller shows that nest inside the main program. In the most recent season I have reworked the news segment to have a different pacing and style of delivery, akin to SNL’s Weekend Update. Gentoo has given me a full experience in working in a studio and the skills to manage a crew, and provide a consistent weekly upload schedule.
